Garden in a Brush

When the snow is falling fast:

 white all around,

a change of weather is not past:

with a brush it can be found.

Winter's blank world can be masked with some paint;

sunshine's rays find light on a pond,

colors warm without restraint.

When budget limits travel,

the car in the drive a fixture,

when airplanes fly above to lands only seen in picture,

the brush dipped in colors of a distant day

splashes out paths to places far away.

White,

with eager strokes,

becomes a garden of possibilities.
